Julia Boyd

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas by my mother (and DFW's finest script supervisor) Eve Butterly. The first project I premiered in was HGTV's That's Clever! at 3 years old. Since then, I've been tagging along to set with my mom on The Chosen, Mongolian Death Worm, The Good Guys, and countless more. By the time I was 10, I realized the unique advantage I'd been given, and decided to start pursuing acting. In 2016, I enrolled in film acting classes with Performers Edge Dallas, taught by Cassie Shea Watson. Soon, I joined my high school's theatre troupe where I auditioned for and was cast in every show produced. After graduating in 2020, I continued my education at the University of North Texas, pursuing a degree in Theatre Performance. My freshman year began my involvement with UNT's award-winning TV station, NTTV, where I kept busy starring in multiple student films and shorts. When I'm not in class, at work, or on set, I love watching Disney movies, getting coffee with friends, and making mashups on GarageBand.
